I hate the smell of Ivory Soap It reminds me Of dirty floors and blackened bare feet from stomping through dirt and a bottomless sandpit filled with the carcasses of broken toys and buried my little ponies it reminds me of a bathroom floor covered in rags and clothes when toilet paper wasn't availiable and trying to hurry to make sure that you wouldn't come in when i was there the smell of ivory soap reminds me of watching horror movies and being bitten by a ferret when I strayed into the neighbors yard, lucky the dogs weren't out and i wasn't bitten worse it reminds me of yelling and screaming and slappi

I used to think of you as the moon, a pull so constant and compelling the tides of my emotion ebbing and flowing affected by your presence your absence making me weep tears eroding lines through my skin like rivers eating the ground I used to feel you as an ache soul deep so pleasant and yet twisting through my body tearing at my mind toxic as sweets laced with cyanide yet I couldn't stop poisoning myself with more of you I still can sense you and i know I still love you but i had to stop had to stop sabotaging my self and who i needed to become the detox was hell but the addiction was worse

Ghosts of Memories been walking through the downtown part of the empty city surrounded by the quiet husks of buildings long abandoned inhabited only by memories and ghosts of patrons still sitting at the non existent tables sipping coffee made of vapors chatting noiselessly while cars pass by the clouded windows the sound of laughter bounces off the skywalks and overpasses in the parkades it echoes through the concrete canyon sounds of a distant childhood unheeded by the suits and executives hurrying to a responsibility long forgotten I find myself walking alone surrounded by ghosts of memories long dead
